EVENT VOLUNTEER

LCLC Event Volunteers devote 2–5 hours of service at a specific LCLC event, activity, or fundraiser. These activities are held throughout the year and include: Adult Genius Trivia, Children’s Book Festival, Reads, Beats & Eats, Spirit Nights, The Wizard Walk, Halloween Spooktacular, Books and Bears, and Rotary Christmas Store. If you are interested in serving as an Event Volunteer, please complete our Event Volunteer Initial Application here

ABLE VOLUNTEER COACH

ABLE Volunteer Coaches work one-on-one with local adult learners who want to improve their literacy, gain life skills, or earn their GED. ABLE Coaches devote a minimum of 2 hours a week for 6 months to help adults improve their quality of life. For more information about becoming an ABLE Coach and to complete an ABLE Coach Application, click here

BOARD MEMBER

Volunteer members of the Board of Directors serve as stewards of LCLC and have a legal and ethical responsibility to ensure that the organization does the best work possible in pursuit of its goals and fulfillment of its mission. They represent the organization in the community, attend board meetings on the first Tuesday of each month, and dedicate 2–4 hours per month in making LCLC a successful organization. If you would like to discuss serving on the board, please complete our Board of Directors Interest Form.
