SPREAD THE WORD!
Learn about LCLC’s programs in-depth and speak to community members as an LCLC Advocate. You’ll help us increase the awareness of our programs, and then we’ll be able to help more people in the local community. We’ll educate you and provide materials for you to distribute to the public.
SHOW YOUR DEDICATION!
Become a sponsor of one of our signature events, like the Children’s Book Festival or Reads, Beats & Eats. You can sponsor these events as an individual, family, or in the name of your business and demonstrate your belief that reading and lifelong education are important to you and the local community.
CALL YOUR FRIENDS!
Host a small fundraiser at your home on behalf of the Lafayette County Literacy Council. Introduce your friends to LCLC’s programs and ask for a small donation to support the programs of their choice. You could also start a read-a-thon, raffle off a favorite book, or hold a bake sale to raise money.
